A3 Printer Terms and Conditions
1. Maintenance Services
1.1 Except as otherwise specified, the warranty of the machine is valid during the contract period for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty period is extendable upon expiry, subject to your request and payment of a fee chargeable by us.
1.2 This warranty is only applicable to the Product(s) which are located within the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
1.3 We will provide warranty service upon your request during our normal service hour:
- Monday – Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (no warranty service is available on Saturday, Sundays and Public Holidays)
1.4 For any emergency service requested beyond our normal service hour and installation service (depending on the Contract Terms), such service, if available, will be provided on a charge-per-call basis to be quoted by us.
1.5 We will levy additional charge for service rendered in the outlying islands. Our warranty service covers residential and commercial addresses in Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, New Territories, Tung Chung, Discovery Bay, Ma Wan, and Hong Kong International Airport.
1.6 We agree to keep the Product(s) in good order and serviceable condition by repairing and/or replacing and/or cleaning except the following:
- (a) accessories, consumable items, and optional units such as power cables, external power adapters, interface cables, scanner cartridges, head drums.
- (b) damage resulting from the use of non-genuine KYOCERA consumables or refill substances.
- (c) damage caused by your negligence and misuse of the Product(s).
- (d) the Product(s) are not supplied by us or our authorized resellers; or
- (e) the serial number of the Product(s) has been altered, effaced or removed.
1.7 The warranty shall be automatically voided if the Product(s) or any part(s) thereof have been modified, tampered with, altered, converted, or repaired in any way by anyone other than our authorized representatives.
1.8 Under normal circumstances and where necessary in the opinion of us, worn parts will be replaced free of charge on-site. We may also replace the faulty Product(s)by an equivalent unit with compatible features and capabilities if it could not be repaired during the warranty period. However, subject to part(s) warranty specified in the General Terms aforesaid. All replaced components, parts or other units are the property of us.
1.9 Apart from our obligations set out herein, under no circumstance, we are liable for loss, loss of profits, goodwill or any type of special, indirect or consequential loss (including loss or damage suffered by your Company as a result of third party’s action) even if such loss is reasonable and/or foreseeable.
1.10 Free KYOCERA Fleet Services (KFS) are included on your devices for auto-reporting of supplies consumption, meter reading and service diagnosis etc. KYOCERA will issue the monthly invoice to charge the toner(s) usage based on the meter readings of ECOSYS M8124cidn and TASKalfa 2554ci/3554ci/4054ci/308ci.
ECOSYS M8124cidn Charging Scheme:
The Meter Charge of black and white copiers is HK$0.08 per page of A4 size, and the Meter Charge of color copiers is HK$0.9 per page of A4 size. Each page of A3 size will be charged at double the cost of an A4 size page. This means the Meter Charge of black and white copiers is HK$0.16 per page of A3 size and the Meter Charge of color copiers is HK$1.8 per page of A3 size.
TASKalfa 2554ci/3554ci/4054ci/308ci Charging Scheme:
The Meter Charge of black and white copiers is HK$0.07 per page of A4 size, and the Meter Charge of color copiers is HK$0.8 per page of A4 size. Each page of A3 size will be charged at double the cost of an A4 size page. This means the Meter Charge of black and white copiers is HK$0.14 per page of A3 size and the Meter Charge of color copiers is HK$1.6 per page of A3 size.
If the printing area is less than the size of an A4 page, we will charge the cost per page of an A4 size. KYOCERA reserves the right to amend the unite price without prior notice.
1.11 Free of charge toner(s) will be provided by us based on the toner consumption shown in the status report as well as KFS system if applicable, and we reserve the right to withhold toner delivery if customer does not meet the service criteria.
1.12 The spare toner(s) and unused toner(s), included boxed, unboxed or installed in the machine, supplied for the equipment operation use remain the property of us. You are obligated to keep all those toner(s) in safe custody at all time.
1.13 We also reserve the right to charge an additional fee in the event that the toner cartridges or any consumables are damaged due to the customer’s unreasonable use of the machine, or if the toner cartridges or any consumables are lost due to improper storage by the customer.
1.14 During the contract end or retaking possession of the machine pursuant to our rights in this Agreement, you are obliged to return ALL spare toner(s) & unused toner(s) (inclusive of boxed, unboxed and installed in the machine), machine(s) & its/their peripheral accessories, including hardware(s) and software(s), to us. Failure to do so will result in penalty charges.

2. Charges and Payment
2.1 This Agreement sets forth the Charges you must pay us for the Maintenance Services as defined in the “Renewal Maintenance Service Plan” mentioned above. The calculation of the Charges payable by you will start from the date the Maintenance Service is made available to you by us. We shall share a monthly invoice with you and you agree to remit payment within thirty (30) days of the issue date of the invoice.
2.2 Delinquent Payments; Suspension; Late payments may bear interest at the rate of 2.5% per month (or the highest rate permitted by law, if less) from the payment due date until paid in full. You will be responsible for all reasonable expenses (including attorneys‘ fees) incurred by us in collecting such delinquent amounts.
2.3 If your payment is overdue, we may suspend the Services until the settlement of all overdue payments and the reconnection charges.
2.4 To help us ensure you can continue to receive our service and your Bill; it is your responsibility to:
(a) notify us if your email address, service address and billing address changes;
(b) check your junk email folder to see if your Email Bill has been delivered there instead of your inbox; and
(c) contact us if you do not receive your Email Bill or Paper Bill upon written request.2.5. The Goods and Services shall comply with all requirements of Hong Kong laws, including without limitation, the laws relating to environmental protection.
2.5 In case of any dispute, KYOCERA Document Solutions Hong Kong Limited decision is final. English version shall prevail.
2.6 The Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong and any disputes arising from the Agreement including the interpretation of its contents shall be referred to the Hong Kong Courts for resolution.
2.7 This Agreement will be confirmed and commence once the customer has paid via this e-commerce platform and it will be in effect for a period subject to the package selected.
